Faith-based community growth that still feels like real life

Pleasant View Baptist is a home for faith-based community growth that still feels human. You are not signing up for a performance. You are stepping into Christian fellowship with people who are learning purposeful living, one honest week at a time. Questions are welcome, service is shared, and the Spirit is invited into the ordinary stuff.

Our vision: neighbors, not numbers

We believe Baptist community outreach starts with names, not spreadsheets. Our vision is simple. Gather around Scripture, carry hope into our streets, and make room for families who are tired of doing faith alone.

Worship that grounds you

Sunday mornings are a rhythm, not a reward for being perfect. We sing, pray, and listen for God together so the rest of the week has a center point.

Faith-based community growth you can practice

Growth here looks like showing up when it is inconvenient, apologizing when you are wrong, and celebrating when someone else takes a brave step. We want local worship groups that feel safe enough to be honest.

Fresh perspective

Connect: how you can take a first step this month

If you are new, start small. Send an email, fill out a connect card, or show up early for coffee. We will introduce you to a host team member who can answer practical questions without making you feel like a project.

First time guests

Park, follow the signs, and sit wherever you like. Kids check-in is staffed by trained volunteers who care about safety and warmth. If you need a quieter seat, an usher can help.

Serving teams

Greeters, hospitality, student nights, and care meals all need steady hands. Tell us what you enjoy, and we will help you try one serve date before you commit.

Questions we answer

How can I get involved in the community?

Start with a Sunday visit, then join a four-week newcomer conversation. After that, pick one serve role or one group night so your calendar matches your capacity.

What is the vision for our local church?

We want to be a Jesus-shaped presence in our zip code: hospitable teaching, compassionate care, and partnerships with schools and nonprofits where it helps.

Where can I find support for my spiritual journey?

Pastors are available for prayer and counsel by appointment, and life groups offer weekly Scripture conversation with people who will remember your name.

Community voices

Life groups: faith-based community growth in a living room

Midweek groups are where Christian fellowship stops being a slogan. We eat, pray, and open the Bible at a pace real parents and real shift workers can keep. Some groups are mixed age, some are women only or men only, and we will help you find a fit.

Rhythm you can keep

Most groups meet twice a month so you can rest between gatherings. Host homes rotate snacks, and facilitators keep discussion kind and on track.

Kids and students

Student gatherings and children’s ministry pair with adult teaching so families are growing on parallel tracks. Ask about summer service projects and parent workshops.
